Eligibility

Who can apply?

We are looking for talented, curious and open-minded scientists from Germany and abroad with a burning aspiration to shape the future of neuroscience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment. Master Students

GTC Master students in the 3rd Semester, who will finalize their master’s program in regular study period (four semesters) are invited to apply for the IMPRS program. 

PhD Students

PhD students are eligible to apply to the IMPRS program if they are a doctoral student supervised by IMPRS faculty members and have admission to the doctoral program of the GTC from June 2022.

If you are already holding an excellent MSc degree, you are very welcome to apply directly for a PhD position advertised by the IMPRS faculty. If you get an offer from IMPRS faculty member, you are also eligible to enroll in the GTC doctoral program and apply for the IMPRS PhD program.
